Lethal Collection:

Lethal is a series that allows me to express my complete opposition to vicious violence. I am using two subjects: warfare in history, in which I am using as reference our current wars in between countries. These massive violent human demonstrations are echoes of the smaller war zones in our urban settings.

In any media a war story is swallowed by another,

one violent act takes over another violent act,
greed,
day after day…
for days, months and years
decades of shattered bones
painful blood

rape, crime, xenophobia,
intolerable tolerance
gangs or guerrilla supremacy,
imperial abuse,
drug lords hunting games,
pedophilia, homophobia, sex and hate crimes…

Control
blind desire
control
blind greed

bones
tears
flesh

hate

hate hate

Raping the soul
stabbing eyes, ears, mouth and mind
fucking each other until no one and nothing is left

who really wins?

I asked myself, are we becoming numb to violence? Are we developing an irony with the issues of violence? I am deeply concerned about our mental normalization on aggression.
Is this an adaptability trait in our evolution? Is violence normalization a ‘survival of the species response’?

We adapt
Drinking this poison
I feel this is eating us slowly,

inside out

Are we genetically violent?
Is this vicious violence inherited in us?
Is this really true?
Is it?

Please share any comments. PEACE
